With its exquisitely rugged natural landscape, Tennessee is one of the best places to take in the great outdoors — especially on a dirt bike. Whether a rider is experienced or still finding their footing, Tennessee has a motocross track to fit every skill level.
It’s not hard to find a good dirt trail within driving distance at any time of the year. Those in Nashville during Red Bull Tennessee Knockout will get to see downtown transformed into extreme enduro off-road terrain. For anyone who wants to get off the sidelines and tackle the dirt themself, check out the top motocross tracks in Tennessee.
01
Windrock Park Pavillion, Oliver Springs
Located about 30 miles west of Knoxville, Windrock Park offers something for motocross enthusiasts of all levels. The Oliver Springs park is home to more than 300 miles of scenic dirt bike trails that are open 24/7. Riders who decide to go for a late night ride can stay overnight at one of Windrock’s camping or RV sites, or relax in one of the cozy cabins on Windrock Road.
Beginners can enjoy the green mountain landscape on lowkey gravel tracks. For a bit more adventure, moderate level trails add more dirt and a few rocks and ruts. Difficult level trails up the ante for more advanced rides. And for the expert riders, there’s all of the above, plus boulders and cliffs for the most difficult courses. All riders are required to have an individual permit, which can be picked up online or onsite at Windrock Park’s General Store or Campground Office.
