The craziest Big Air kiteboarding contest is back with three new qualifiers: Spain, Denmark and France.

The hunt for the world's best kiteboarders never stops and Red Bull King of the Air is extending its qualifying series with a new event at Balneario Beach in Tarifa, Spain. For those looking to compete, registrations are now open! Submit a video entry showcasing your best tricks between 11th March and 1st May 2025. Each submission will be assessed by a panel of expert judges, who will evaluate tricks based on height, difficulty, technical execution, and precision, with the most skilled and daring riders ultimately earning a spot in the Red Bull King of the Air Qualifier in Tarifa.The competition will take place at Playa Balneario, Tarifa, within a wind window from 1st to 30th June 2025. The exact date will be determined by optimal wind conditions. A total of 18 riders will compete in Tarifa: four will receive wildcard invitations, while the remaining 14 will be chosen through the video contest.The spot is located at the point where the Mediterranean and Atlantic winds collide, creating epic conditions for the riders to show they've got what it takes. The winner will earn themself a place at the legendary event in Cape Town at the end of the year.
