Red Bull Energy Drink is made with sugar sourced from sugar beets.
Sugars are well known carbohydrates and can be found in many foodstuffs from fruits and fruit juices to other beverages including energy drinks. Carbohydrates are basic nutrients consumed in the daily diet, and whether found in fruits or Red Bull Energy Drink, your body processes these sugars the same way.
Red Bull Energy Drink contains 11 g of sugars per 100 ml. This is the same amount of sugar as in 100 ml of orange or apple juice.
There is also Red Bull without sugars: Red Bull Sugarfree and Red Bull Zero.
The amount of sugars in a can of Red Bull Energy Drink is comparable to the sugar level in an equivalent amount of apple or orange juice – 11 g per 100 ml.
